The church is located at 501 North Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. Our parking garage entrance is located at 163 W. Ninth St.

We recommend using the parking garage at 163 W. Ninth Street between Tryon and Church Streets. It's free for church members and visitors. Take a ticket when entering the garage. You won't need it to get out on Sunday; the exit gate will be open. During the week, bring the ticket inside and have a church staff member validate it for you.

Once inside the garage, you'll see two elevators on levels P-1 and P-2 with signs for First United Methodist Church.

For offices, classrooms, and the gym, use the elevator on your right with the sign that says “Church Offices/Child Development Center.” Take it to Level P.

For our 11:00 a.m. Service of Worship and other events in the Sanctuary, use the elevator in the far left corner labeled “Sanctuary.” Take it to Level S for the Sanctuary or Level P for the breezeway to the Fellowship Hall and Small Dining Room.
