In partnership with Catholic Charities and neighboring congregations, First UMC Charlotte is supporting the resettlement of families from Syria, Iraq, El Salvador, Afghanistan, and Congo, assisting in any ways we can:

  • providing transportation to appointments and ESL classes

  • helping navigate our school systems and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration services

  • acquiring clothing and household goods

  • celebrating births, employment, home and auto purchases, citizenship, and other milestones
